In 2017, the Visual Effects Society (VES) awarded both Saki and Max with the VES Award for their work on Disney’s “The Jungle Book“. Alongside fellow Compositors Christoph Salzmann and Matthew Adams, they received the award in the category “Outstanding Compositing in a Photoreal Feature” (read the full VES press release here). The film went on to also win the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
